We purchased Big Louie at the 2004 Summer Type Congress where he was a first place boar from Rick Whitman. He was purchased because he was big framed, wide made and super sound. We couldn’t be more pleased with his pigs as they are flat out good. So far he has produced the 2005 NBS Hog College Boar (sold for $9,200 to RAR Genetics and Dave Martin), Reserve Champion Gilt 2005 STC and a 1st place boar 2005 STC (sold to Shaffer’s Gold Rush

A littermate to complete, this boar will likely go to the STC. Really heavy structure, big footed and heavy muscled describes him. Also look for an outstanding littermate gilt in Louisville.

Its Krazy the amount of muscle and structure this boar carries on a very correct frame. He is very athletic and has done a great job of siring pigs that have that extra volume to grow fast. He sired the reserve Champion gilt at the 2005 Mo. State Fair.
The name says it all. This boar is the one we've been waiting for, complete in phenotype and performance both terminally and maternally. His mother raised 9 pigs at 11 months of age and just weaned 11 pigs in her second litter.
A herd boar at Jerry Huffingtons and a class winning gilt at 2005 MSF are littermates to the dam and the sire is the popular boar from Whitman that was at the 2005 WPX and now at stud at Top Cut.
This boar is one great individual. He is COMPLETE!
